My name is Maddalene Hiers and I’m a diverse and multitalented individual with an eye for design is all fields. From creating colorful hair masterpieces for clients or curating a unique stage production that show cases interesting art pieces or even when I’m bringing your website to life, I always aim for a well tailored aesthetic while making your vision a reality.

I recently switched paths to UI/UX Design, but I have worn many hats before ending up here and every one has made me become a better designer overall. I started my first career as a cosmetologist about 16 years ago where I honed in on my communication skills and my attention to detail and ability to hear the vision of what clients wanted and how to deliver it to them. I used my knowledge of braiding to enter into the Music Festival world and I truly enjoy creating magic in that new  realm.I  have done stagehand work as well and that has given me unique experiences while working long hours perfecting a product until its complete which is very similar to the time and effort that goes into building a website from the ground up.  I believe all of that diverse work gives me a unique ability to be able to help people on the UI/UX design side of the industries I have been working in for so many years anyways. Having come from so many backgrounds already I believe I will be able to relate to more clients overall. I am always trying to learn new skills and new ways of looking at things or finding unique ways to fix current problems and  I believe if I can use my skills to help 

people in industries I am already familiar with. I will be able to bridge any communication gaps that might arise since I already have experience in the field and know from my own first hand experience how to better assist them in fixing whatever problems they have. Ideally I would love to be able to freelance work in the music event industry or even beauty and fashion since I have worked in those fields but I am also open to working a more corporate job even though most of my jobs have been freelance in general. I truly believe that wherever I end up I will excel because I am very good at adapting to environments.
